The tool you're looking for is called AutoLink, made by FallingCat. The current generation works not by messing with costume slots but by adding detail slots - you know, the options that you change what color panties the girls are wearing? Now switching between them changes the whole outfit - maybe even the face & hair! The second generation worked by simply replacing existing costume slots with modified outfits. The first mods actually only worked for cracked versions of the game. Team Ninja told us we should play the game in a 'good and moral' manner and never really explained exactly what that meant (you can read the whole article [if you want to try your hand at interpretation), which left everyone confused and made a lot of people really angry. Modding of DOA5:LR didn't get off to a pretty start. So I messed around with modding this weekend.
